KEY DATES

Software publisher established in 2000 and pioneer of SaaS (Software as a Service) distribution, Oodrive has been developing ECM (Enterprise Content Management) solutions dedicated to the security and exchange of files for its customers, distributors and partners for eight years.

From the emergence of applications known as On Demand and then ASP and SaaS, Oodrive has demonstrated innovation in marketing services that meet three fundamental requirements: simplicity, technological progress, and security.

- 2000: Creation of Oodrive

- 2001: marketing of an Internet hard disk

In what remains a low speed environment, Oodrive proposes to facilitate access to file-sharing technology to meet the growing need for the self-employed and VSEs to have at their disposal a simple and accessible means for the exchange of large files with their internal and external collaborators.

- 2002: Launching of iExtranet, a secure file-sharing system for companies.

Faced with a growing demand from businesses, Oodrive is seizing the opportunity to provide the market with a professional solution, complete with a wide range of features consistent with the demands of enterprises today.

- 2002: Launching of AdBackup, a managed service for remote data backup.

Following its online file-sharing and collaboration solution, Oodrive is confronting another issue at the heart of the concerns of professionals: the backup of their data.

With AdBackup, Oodrive offers businesses a secure and automated online backup platform, continuously supervised by experienced specialists. Professionals can now secure the information necessary for an immediate resumption of operations in an IT disaster scenario.

2002: 50 reseller partners and 680 clients, including Universal Music.

- 2002: Oodrive and MAAF complete a partnership agreement

Through this partnership between Oodrive and the MAAF, the number one insurance group for professionals, the insurer directs all customers of its "Professional" division towards the AdBackup remote backup solution and turns remote backup into an insurance issue. By choosing Oodrive, MAAF wanted safety and reliability to be a privilege for its professional customers.

- 2002: Oodrive and Completel sign a partnership agreement

This collaboration with Completel, distributor of sharing and backup solutions, has allowed Oodrive to confirm its traditional strategy of SaaS solutions for SMEs and key accounts.

- 2003: Oodrive, the MAAF, and Wanadoo launch the “IT Peace of Mind Pack”

As continuity is absolutely essential for VSEs and the self-employed professions, Oodrive, the MAAF and Wanadoo join forces to launch the "IT Peace of Mind Pack."

In addition to the automatic backup outsourced by the Oodrive AdBackup solution, this pack includes Wanadoo ADSL access and a backup and data recovery guarantee insured by the MAAF in the event of a crash.

- 2003: Launch of AOL Storage, based on iExtranet, for all subscribers to AOL.

2005: Over 200 reseller partners and close to 3,000 clients

- 2006: Purchase of Mayetic, a solution for secure collaboration space

The integration of the company Mayetic, a European specialist and pioneer of collaborative work online, was an opportunity for Oodrive to consolidate its position in this booming market.

Thus, in a logical synergy between the existing offers for file sharing and online backup, Oodrive now offers companies an ECM (Enterprise Content Management) in the form of a secure collaborative workspace. Its goal: to organize and distribute information relating to the management of a project or enterprise.

- 2006: Partnership with the Fnac for the "Pack Essentiel"

In order to maintain its competitive edge in the online services for individuals, the Fnac was able to count on an experienced partner with an efficient architecture supervised daily by experts: in Oodrive the group has found a trusted partner.

In the "Pack Essentiel" solution, the Fnac offers a sharing space coupled with a suite of security features.

- 2007: Launching of iExtranet BTP (construction)

In order to best respond to professional issues in the construction industry, Oodrive expands and enriches iExtranet with sector-specific features connected with security, management of access permissions and/or the preview of plans in AutoCAD format.

iExtranet BTP has become the essential solution for file sharing and work group collaboration for the majority of those involved in the building and construction industry.

- 2007: Oodrive wins the European tender for Orange

Oodrive has formed a partnership with Orange to launch data backup bids for individuals and very small enterprises.

- 2007: Iris Capital invests 4 million euros in Oodrive

Iris Capital, European venture capital investor, specializing in the Internet and new technologies, is investing 4 million euros in Oodrive, thereby confirming the solid strategy and management of the company.

This new phase represents an opportunity for Oodrive to accelerate its growth, partly through investments in its R&D unit, and partly by its opening up towards European markets, notably through the acquisition of two companies during 2008-2009: one in Northern Europe and the second in Southern Europe.

- 2008: Awarded the status of "Young Innovative Enterprise"

Based on technological expertise and strong professionalism, this distinction is awarded by the Ministry of Education and Research and validates the Oodrive SaaS (Software as a Service) model in the market for backup and file management.

- 2008: IP-Label 1st prize trophy for service quality, category: Publishers of Solutions.

Aiming at assessing the accessibility and timeliness of information on the ASP Forum members’ websites, IP-Label awarded the trophy for the Oodrive service with a quality index estimated at 99.97%.

- 2008: Distribution of the Fnac "Pack Essentiel" on a European scale

The Fnac "Pack Essentiel" is translated into 6 languages and has now been distributed to all outlets of the Fnac across France and Europe

- 2008: Acquisition of the BlueBackUp company, distributor of outsourced backup solutions in Northern Europe

Oodrive begins its international growth by acquiring BlueBackUp, whose headquarters are located in Belgium. After two consecutive years of profit, it has built up a base of nearly a thousand customers and achieved a turnover of nearly 2 million in 2008. This operation is merely the first step: two new acquisitions are being prepared for the first quarter of 2009.

Today: 800 reseller partners, and 8,000 customers
